Basketball Recap: Woodmont Victorious

Woodmont's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 50-40 win over the Greenville Red Raiders. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Red Raiders back in January, they had to take a 73-45 defeat.

Several Red Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Miracle Cheeks, who went 7-for-17 en route to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of A'Keyra Harris, who posted 14 points and five boards.

The victory got Woodmont back to even at 13-13. As for Greenville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-12.

Woodmont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-30 win against Catawba Ridge on the 17th. As for Greenville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 56-34 victory against Indian Land on the 17th.
