Basketball Recap: Evant Takes a Loss

Evant was the 42-11 winner over Abbott when they last played one another back in December of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Evant Elks were dealt a 57-15 defeat at the hands of the Abbott Panthers on Monday. The match marked the Elks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Evant's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Abbott, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Evant will head out on the road to challenge Oglesby at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Abbott, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Abbott Panthers face off against the Cranfills Gap Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
