Volleyball Recap: Pewaukee Victorious

Pewaukee picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They skirted past the Appleton West Terrors 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Pewaukee got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 22-25, 16-14.

Pewaukee found their leader in sophomore Grant Conrad, who had 12 digs. Those 12 digs set a new season-high mark for Conrad.

Pewaukee now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Appleton West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Pewaukee and Appleton West will both be playing Franklin the next time they take the court. The Pirates will head out to face the Sabers at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Terrors will play them later in the day, at 10:30 a.m.
