Volleyball Recap: Everest Collegiate's Loss Ends Ten-Game Winning Streak on the Road + How To Watch

Everest Collegiate was the 3-0 winner over Byron when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Everest Collegiate lost 3-0 to Byron on Tuesday. The game marked the first time this year in which Everest Collegiate was not able to get on the board.

Everest Collegiate was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-22.

Everest Collegiate's loss ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-2-1. As for Byron, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Everest Collegiate will host Austin Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on September 4. After both having extra time off, Byron and Durand will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on September 4. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
