Baseball Recap: Jerome Takes a Loss

Jerome and Skyline squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Jerome had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tigers have suffered since March 15th.

Jerome saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Ramsey, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Jerome's loss dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Skyline, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Jerome does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Skyline, they will face off against Twin Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bruins will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Grizzlies surely won't give up without a fight.
