David Britenfeld Drops League-Best  Effort  on Friday
 Starting off the list is West Catholic's  David Britenfeld, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Britenfeld rushed for 225 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown.
 The  victory (which was West Catholic's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Britenfeld and West Catholic will head out to  face off against Zeeland West  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.

Connor Olszewski Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
  Connor Olszewski posted a new career-high in  rushing yards  on Friday. He picked up 50 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 36 yards.
 For the season,  Olszewski  has caught 2 touchdowns while averaging 39.2 receiving yards per game.

Big Game from King As Christian Fell 62-28
  Charlie King put up the most  rushing yards he's  had since back in August on Friday. He threw for 254 yards and a touchdown while picking up 12.1 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown.
 Christian is  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-7. King and Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Holland Christian  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Aaron Ricord Turns in Another Game with at Least Six  Total Tackles
  Aaron Ricord continued his hot streak  on Friday by dropping his tenth-straight game (dating back to last season) with  at least six  total tackles. He made 15 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
 This year,  Ricord  has averaged 10.6 total tackles per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season,  he was only averaging 4.25  total tackles per game.

Aaron Gholston Makes It Two for Christian
 The second Christian player making an appearance here is  Aaron Gholston, and for good reason. He picked up 192 receiving yards and a touchdown. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 99 yards.
 For the year,  Gholston  has caught 8 touchdowns while averaging 79.4 receiving yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he had two  receiving touchdowns.
