Baseball Recap: Midland Valley Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Midland Valley's offense. They lost 8-0 to the South Aiken Thoroughbreds on Thursday. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Thoroughbreds earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Midland Valley's defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-17-1. As for South Aiken, their win bumped their record up to 6-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midland Valley will venture away from home to challenge North Augusta at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Aiken, they will head out to square off against Aiken at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Thoroughbreds are facing the Fighting Green Hornets at the right time seeing as the Fighting Green Hornets are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
