Volleyball Recap: Olympia Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Olympia lost against Williamsville back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spartans fell 2-0 to the Bullets.

Olympia may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 19 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19.

Grace Small paced Olympia's offense, picking up five kills. Small got some help from Kinley Steinkamp and her 13 assists.

Olympia's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Williamsville, they pushed their record up to 12-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

The future could be bright for both Olympia and Williamsville: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Spartans will try to hand Pekin their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Williamsville will look to extend PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central's three-game losing streak when they meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
