Basketball Recap: Martensdale-St. Mary's Beats Lenox for Their Third Straight Win

While Martensdale-St. Mary didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Lenox Tigers by a score of 55-48 on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Blue Devils as they're now sitting on three straight.

Martensdale-St. Mary's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Lenox, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Martensdale-St. Mary's and Baxter will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Baxter's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Lenox, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lenox Tigers duke it out with the Central Decatur Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
