Volleyball Recap: Sprague Comes Up Short

Sprague lost against South Salem back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Olympians fell 3-1 to the Saxons. The Olympians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 23-25, 25-10.

Leading South Salem to victory were Logan Scott and Connor Wolfgram. Scott had 30 digs and three aces, while Wolfgram had 16 digs and one block. Wolfgram is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 18 games he's played dating back to last season. Cameron King-Widdall also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Sprague's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for South Salem, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1.

Sprague does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Salem, they will face off against McNary at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
