Volleyball Recap: Edinburgh Takes a Loss

Edinburgh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rising Sun Shiners. If the Lancers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Shiners when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Edinburgh's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Rising Sun, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Edinburgh has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Morristown on the 16th. As for Rising Sun, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Eastern Hancock on the 16th.
