Baseball Recap: Scott Wins Going Away Against Roane County

Scott won the last time they faced Roane County and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Skyhawks blew past the Raiders 11-1.

Jason Ferrell was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Louden White, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

Scott has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Roane County, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Scott beat the Raiders by a score of 9-4 later that day.
