Baseball Recap: Woodlawn-B.R. Takes a Loss

Woodlawn-B.R. lost against Albany back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Woodlawn-B.R. Panthers fell just short of the Albany Hornets by a score of 4-3. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Woodlawn-B.R. saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan James, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. James also put up a hit, which was his first of the season.

Woodlawn-B.R.'s loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Albany, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

While Woodlawn-B.R. had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
