First Baptist School extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Heathwood Hall Episcopal. They had just enough and edged out the Heathwood Hall Episcopal Highlanders 54-52. The win was nothing new for the Hurricanes as they're now sitting on 16 straight.

Heathwood Hall Episcopal's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was SaBreya Monsanto, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 14 boards. Monsanto has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Camillea Gore, who posted 13 points and five rebounds.

First Baptist School's victory bumped their record up to 29-2. As for Heathwood Hall Episcopal, the loss snapped their winning streak at 14 games and leaves them with a 17-4 record.

First Baptist School has already played their next matchup, a 65-40 defeat against Trinity Collegiate on the 21st. Heathwood Hall Episcopal does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
