Baseball Game Preview: Barrington Eagles vs. Lincoln Lions

The Barrington Eagles will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Lincoln Lions at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Barrington's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Lincoln's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Barrington duked it out with Cranston West on Thursday. The Eagles fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 4-3. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Lincoln didn't have quite enough to beat Portsmouth on Thursday and fell 7-5.

Joseph Lezon was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Barrington's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
