Basketball Recap: Green Ridge Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Tigers on Friday. The Green Ridge Tigers took a 57-38 bruising from the Smithton Tigers. Green Ridge was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Smithton earlier this season, when they won 65-56.

Green Ridge's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Smithton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season.

Looking ahead, Green Ridge will venture away from home to take on Northwest at 7:30 p.m. on February 14th. As for Smithton, they will take on Jamestown at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
