Soccer Recap: Oaks Christian Takes a Loss

Oaks Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 11-2 to the Thousand Oaks Lancers. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Noah Slaton and Marc Pellettierre scored both of Oaks Christian's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Oaks Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Thousand Oaks, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-5-1.

Oaks Christian wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-1 defeat against Newbury Park on the 24th. As for Thousand Oaks, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Calabasas on the 24th.
