Baseball Recap: Carroll Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Carroll's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eastern Comets on Tuesday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

Carroll has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Eastern, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-5.

Coincidentally, Carroll and Eastern will both be playing Clinton Central the next time they take the field. The Cougars will host the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Comets will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
