Soccer Recap: Tucker Takes a Loss

Tucker lost against Lakeside back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers lost 5-0 to the Vikings. While losing is never fun, Tucker can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 296th, while Lakeside are ranked 31st).

This is the second loss in a row for Tucker and nudges their season record down to 5-11. As for Lakeside, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tucker will face off against North Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lakeside, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Dunwoody at 6:00 p.m.
