Basketball Recap: Poplar Springs Atomics vs. Marianna Bulldogs
Poplar Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell to the Marianna Bulldogs 39-34. One positive for the Atomics, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Even though they lost, Poplar Springs smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.
Poplar Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Marianna, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.
