While Lincoln put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Archie. The Cardinals put the hurt on the Whirlwinds with a sharp 16-0 win. Considering the Cardinals have won 16 games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Archie, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Looking ahead, Lincoln will take on Green Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Archie, they will face off against Osceola at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
