Eaglecrest waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Overland Trailblazers with points to spare, taking the game 59-41. The Raptors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trailblazers, too.

Eaglecrest's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kiarra Spellman, who shot 50% from the field on her way to 21 points. Naomi Emecheta was another key player, going 6-for-7 to rack up 17 points and six rebounds.

Eaglecrest's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Overland, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eaglecrest will challenge Cherokee Trail at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Overland, they will face off against Grandview at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trailblazers will be up against the Wolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.41 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
