Basketball Recap: Brookings-Harbor Comes Up Short

Brookings-Harbor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Cascade Christian Challengers and fell 73-37. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 234th, while the Challengers are ranked 35th).

Brookings-Harbor's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Cascade Christian, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Brookings-Harbor will head out on the road to square off against Rogue River at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. Cascade Christian has already played their next contest (against Pleasant Hill), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
