Preview: Concord Crimson Tide vs. Goffstown Grizzlies
Concord is on a four-game streak of home losses (dating back to last season), Goffstown an eight-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. The Concord Crimson Tide will take on the Goffstown Grizzlies at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Saturday, Concord faced Windham in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Concord's tough 27-7 defeat to Windham might stick with them for a while.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 37-8, which was the final score in Goffstown's tilt against Alvirne on Friday. Goffstown was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.
The losses dropped Concord to 2-6 and Goffstown to 1-8.
Concord came up short against Goffstown in their previous meeting back in October of 2021, falling 34-23. Can Concord avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
