Soccer Game Preview: Lake Park vs. Bartlett

Lake Park is 0-4 against Bartlett since May of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Lancers will take on the Hawks at 4:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Thursday, Lake Park came up short against St. Charles North and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Bartlett kept a clean sheet against Riverside-Brookfield on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 1-0.

Bartlett is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those five matches. As for Lake Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11-2.

Lake Park suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Bartlett when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Lancers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
