Recap: Tulia Hornets vs. Dalhart Wolves
The Tulia Hornets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 70-29 loss at the hands of Dalhart. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tulia in their matchups with Dalhart: they've now lost four in a row.
Several Hornets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nic Carrasco, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Tulia dropped their record down to 8-16 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Dalhart, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tulia will square off against Bushland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bushland presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Tulia in Texas (Bushland is ranked 568th, while Tulia is ranked 1188th). As for Dalhart, they will head out on the road to take on Canadian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Canadian is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.
