Basketball Recap: Liam Burell Key Part of Team Effort in Eagles Win

The third road contest was the charm for Elite Academy, as they earned their first away win of the season. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 52-49 victory over the Parkridge Christian Panthers on Friday.

Elite Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Liam Burell, who posted 20 points and eight boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Brown, who put up 12 points.

Elite Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Elite Academy will head out to challenge Somerset Academy Key at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Parkridge Christian, they will host Donna Klein Jewish Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
