Softball Recap: El Primero Lobos vs. Summit Shasta Black Bears

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cupertino, El Primero was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Summit Shasta Black Bears by a score of 22-18. This was a revenge game for the Lobos: when they faced off against the Black Bears back in April, they had to take a 8-7 defeat.

Akira Elemen was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, four stolen bases, and five runs. Another player making a difference was Jenezza Hudson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: El Primero lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. They are 3-1 when they post two or more home runs.

El Primero's record is now 3-5. As for Summit Shasta, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
