Meanwhile, on WednesdayPinewood kept up with Crystal Springs Uplands until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. Crystal Springs Uplands was the clear victor by a 6-0 margin over Pinewood. With that win, the Gryphons brought their scoring average up to 2.9 goals per game.

Menlo School is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those six matchups. As for Crystal Springs Uplands, they pushed their record up to 7-1-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
