Basketball Recap: Gloucester County Christian Snags 12th Victory in Last 15 Games

Gloucester County Christian's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 58-47 win over the Pleasantville Greyhounds.

Angela Karamisakis was her usual excellent self, en route to 23 points along with seven boards and four blocks. That's the most rebounds she has posted since back in January of 2024. Nina Mason was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.

Gloucester County Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in seven consecutive matches.

Gloucester County Christian has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. Pleasantville's loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Gloucester County Christian has already played their next contest, a 37-26 victory against Atlantic Christian on the 20th. As for Pleasantville, they will challenge Manchester Township on February 27th. Manchester Township will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Pleasantville surely won't give up without a fight.
