Football Recap: Fossil Ridge Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Fossil Ridge extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to eight on Friday, dropping them down to 0-7. They took a hard 28-14 fall against the Rocky Mountain Lobos. The SaberCats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lobos apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Fossil Ridge still got an impressive performance from Eli Swanson, who picked up 81 receiving yards and one TD.

While Fossil Ridge came up short, they sure didn't make it easy for Rocky Mountain: they limited their QB to completion percentage of just 50%. Fossil Ridge has been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.64 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.64 in their last three games.

As for Rocky Mountain, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3. 28 seems to be a good number for them as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
