Softball Recap: Crestwood's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Crestwood entered their tilt with Charles City on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Comets by a score of 8-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-2 on Tuesday.

Crestwood's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Charles City, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Crestwood didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Decorah-North Winneshiek on the 12th. Charles City has also already played their next contest (against Osage), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
