            The Willow Canyon Wildcats will square off against the Desert Mountain Wolves at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Willow Canyon has three straight  victories, Desert Mountain has seven straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Willow Canyon is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. They put the hurt on Kellis with a sharp  17-4 win on Wednesday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six  runs or more this season.

The team  relied heavily on  Cameron Davidson, who  went 1-for-3 with one  home run, six  RBI,  and three  runs. Those  six  RBI gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Cole Hansen, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3.

 Willow Canyon pushed their record up to 15-5 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Desert Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.
