It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but North ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the South Rebels 6-5. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Rangers as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Bailey Licht made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over eight innings pitched. Licht was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
