Basketball Recap: Tates Creek Takes a Loss

If Tates Creek was feeling good fresh off their 89-68 takedown of Danville last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tates Creek Commodores came up short against the Walton-Verona Bearcats on Friday, falling 96-76.

Tates Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Walton-Verona, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-10.

Tates Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 70-58 victory against Grant County on the 15th. As for Walton-Verona, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 62-59 win against Oldham County on the 15th.
