Basketball Recap: New Life Academy Takes a Loss

New Life Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 95-63 loss at the hands of the Concordia Academy Beacons. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Beacons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

New Life Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Concordia Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

New Life Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lakes International Language Academy at 1:15 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Concordia Academy will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against St. Croix Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
