Basketball Recap: Clymer Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Brocton last Friday, Clymer Central came back down to earth. The Clymer Central Pirates fell 52-43 to the Westfield Wolverines on Monday. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Clymer Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Westfield, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Clymer Central will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chautauqua Lake at 2:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Westfield, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 53-24 victory against Gowanda on the 18th.
