Coosa Christian extends home winning streak to five

Recap: Coosa Christian Conquerors vs. Pickens County Tornadoes
The Coosa Christian Conquerors extended their postseason success on Friday against the Pickens County Tornadoes. They walked away with a 21-12 win over the Tornadoes. The win was nothing new for Coosa Christian as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Leading Coosa Christian to victory were Josh Hester and Kanon Wilson. Hester rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown, while Wilson rushed for 159 yards and a touchdown.
Coosa Christian pushed their record up to 12-1-1 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.4 points per game. As for Pickens County, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.
Coosa Christian will face off against Leroy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Leroy is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Pickens County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
