Volleyball Recap: San Diego Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Kearny on Tuesday, San Diego came back down to earth. The Cavers fell just short of the Hoover Cardinals by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Cavers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

San Diego came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 13-25, 25-23, 11-25, 16-14.

San Diego's defeat dropped their record down to 8-23. As for Hoover, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-15 record this season.

As of now, neither San Diego nor Hoover have any future games scheduled.
