Bingham won the last time they faced Riverton and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bingham Miners came out on top against the Riverton Silverwolves by a score of 56-49. The win was familiar territory for the Miners who have now won three matchups in a row.

Bingham got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Addy Horsley out in front who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten assists. Horsley is becoming a predictor of Bingham's success: when she posts at least ten assists the team is 13-3 (and 1-2 when she doesn't). Another player making a difference was Evalyn Roberts, who went 5 of 8 en route to 14 points.

When it comes to explaining why Riverton lost, don't look at Faythe Stauffer. Despite the final result, she went 8 for 16 on her way to 24 points. The contest was Stauffer's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Gabby Murdock was another key player, putting up nine points and six rebounds.

Bingham is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Riverton, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Bingham will head out on the road to square off against Herriman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bingham is facing Herriman at the right time seeing as Herriman is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Riverton, they will welcome Copper Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Copper Hills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.6 points per game this season.
