Softball Recap: Citronelle Comes Up Short

Citronelle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thomasville Tigers.

Citronelle saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blaklee Holliman, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Madelyn Dickinson was another, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Citronelle's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Thomasville, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Citronelle has already played their next match, a 4-2 defeat against Jackson on the 14th. Thomasville has also already played their next contest (against Baker), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
