After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Walled Lake Northern, Milford was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the South Lyon Lions 2-1. Milford haven't had any issues with South Lyon recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Milford's win bumped their record up to 4-1-1. As for South Lyon, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Milford will square off against rival Lakeland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, South Lyon is set to face off against their familiar foe Kettering at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
