Baseball Recap: Munford Has No Trouble Against Memphis Home Education Association

Munford was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Memphis Home Education Association on Thursday. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over Memphis Home Education Association. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with Memphis Home Education Association: they've now won three in a row.

Jase Greenland and Curly Lowry did most of the damage at the plate: Greenland went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Lowry went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave Greenland a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxzen Scheidt, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Munford was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .476. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Munford's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Memphis Home Education Association, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-10-1 record this season.
