Softball Game Preview: Camarillo Scorpions vs. Oxnard Yellowjackets

For the second straight game, Camarillo will face off against Oxnard. The Scorpions will venture away from home to face off against the Yellowjackets at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.

Camarillo barely beat Oxnard the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Scorpions put the hurt on the Yellowjackets with a sharp 11-4 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Scorpions in their matchups with the Yellowjackets: they've now won seven in a row.

For Oxnard's part, Rachel Godoy was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run.

Camarillo got the 'W' in their previous meeting on Tuesday against Oxnard by a conclusive 11-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Scorpions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
