Chino had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They came out on top against the Diamond Ranch Panthers by a score of 6-2. That's two games straight that the Cowboys have won by exactly four runs.

The team relied heavily on Nathan Sena, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Xiovany Ochoa, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Chino's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Diamond Ranch, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
