Softball Recap: Seacrest Country Day Takes a Loss

Seacrest Country Day and Evangelical Christian squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Seacrest Country Day had to settle for second. They lost 19-0 to the Sentinels. The Stingrays have struggled against the Sentinels recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Seacrest Country Day's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Evangelical Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season.

Seacrest Country Day does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Evangelical Christian, they will challenge Southwest Florida Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Sentinels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the King's have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season.
