Basketball Game Preview: Twiggs County Cobras vs. Thomson Bulldogs

Two dominant guards in JaMiyah Glover and Jada Kendrick are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Twiggs County Cobras are taking a road trip to face off against the Thomson Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Twiggs County will head into Saturday's game out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Saturday. They lost 47-27 to Peach County.

Meanwhile, Thomson faced Hebron Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Thomson was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 46-45 to Hebron Christian. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Twiggs County will have to contain Kendrick as she made an impact in Thomson's last game. She posted six points and three steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Thomson fell to 9-1. As for Twiggs County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
