It was a proper cat-fight when Lake View challenged Chicago Academy on Tuesday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Wildcats who were credited with the win. This was a revenge game for they: when they faced off against Chicago Academy back in August, they had to take a 5-2 loss.

Lake View has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 38 goals over those nine contests. As for Chicago Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-3-2.

Looking ahead, Lake View will head out on the road to challenge Taft at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Taft's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Lake View's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Chicago Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Fenwick at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday.
