Basketball Recap: South Adams Takes a Loss

South Adams was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 60-40 to the Bellmont Braves. The Starfires were not able to make up for their defeat to the Braves from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, South Adams still got an impressive performance from Tytus Lehman, who posted 11 points and five assists. Henry Craig was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

South Adams' loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Bellmont, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-15.

Coming up, South Adams will challenge Union City at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bellmont, they will face off against Bluffton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bellmont knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Bluffton likes a good challenge.
