Football Recap: Pella Christian Eagles vs. South Hardin Tigers
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pella Christian can now relate to. They were outmatched by the South Hardin Tigers on the road and fell 40-7. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.
Jaxson Drury was his usual excellent self, rushing for 250 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.2 yards per carry for South Hardin. Those 250 rushing yards gave Drury a new career-high.
Pella Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for South Hardin, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-1.
